Serves as primary organist/pianist and choral/music director for the parish, arriving one hour prior to the liturgical celebration. Holds first refusal on playing wedding and funeral liturgies. Meets with wedding couples to plan music and meets with families of deceased to plan the liturgy and music. Plans and facilitates the Liturgy Committee meetings to ensure that all worship and celebrations are conducted appropriately and within the guidelines of Catholic Church teaching, including church decorations. Develops and adheres to an annual liturgy/music budget with assistance of the Director of Operations. Ensures that all liturgical supplies are in stock, such as candles, sacramental wines, etc. Keeps abreast of current music repertoire and sustains a high measure of skill in planning instruments and/or singing. Attends pastoral staff meetings and collaborates with other ministries, especially with youth sacramental director and adult faith formation director and other areas as needed. Long Description

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $16.00 to $16.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized
  • Maintains dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas cleaned
  • Ensures equipment is clean and in working condition; reports any issues to management
  • Performs other light maintenance and custodial tasks
  • Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
  • Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
  • Ensures security of company assets

Qualifications

  • Demonstrates an understanding of basic sanitation procedures
  • Must be able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals
  • Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
