About the Position Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional brass instructor to teach part-time at Ellsworth Music Supply and Repair in Ranson, WV. We are looking for teachers who will instruct in person and are able to teach primarily trumpet. Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability. Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check. Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $28-$34/hour. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all of our employees after 90 days on the job. Our K-5 Music Teacher will: Internalize and execute common curricula, including unit plans, lesson plans, and materials.
