- Provide high-quality, neurodiverse-affirming, compassionate, and ethical clinical care.
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessments for developmental disabilities, learning disorders, ADHD, mood disorders, giftedness, and related concerns.
- Produce detailed assessment reports in a timely manner.
- Maintain good standing with regulatory boards and complete all CE requirements.
- Maintain commitment to evidence-based assessment and current best practices.
- Provide individualized referrals and maintain awareness of internal and community resources.
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain organized clinical documentation in both paper and electronic formats.
- Perform case-related tasks such as EHR billing, phone calls, presentations, and participating in team consultation meetings.
- Optional: Provide psychotherapy to individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mood disorders if desired.
- Extensive training and experience administering comprehensive psychological, developmental, and psychoeducational evaluations for ages 2–25 (plus adults when applicable)
- Expertise in:
- Autism gold-standard measures (ADOS-2, ADI-R)
- Cognitive testing (WPPSI-IV, WISC-V, WAIS-IV)
- Achievement tests (WIAT-III, WJ)
- Commonly used cognitive, behavioral, and emotional assessments
- Understanding of ADA, IDEA, IEPs, BIPs, and 504 plans
- Ethical awareness and comfort seeking consultation as needed
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Competence using electronic health records
- Commitment to serving diverse clients, including multilingual, multicultural, LGBTQIA, and Gifted/2e communities
- Eligible for Medicaid credentialing (must already be licensed)
- Strong independence, time management, and teamwork skills
- Openness to feedback and professional growth
- Tech-savvy; must own a smartphone and laptop
- Dependable, responsive, grounded, and personable
- Must not currently be in private practice and should be invested in becoming an integral long-term team member at KPS
- A Ph.D. or Psy.D.in clinical psychology, school psychology, neuropsychology, or educational psychology
- APA Accredited pre-doctoral internship.
- Licensed as a Psychologist with the State of Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies
- Eligible for credentialing with Medicaid and Kaiser
- Experience working in or with school systems. Understanding of 504/IEP plans.
- Training and experience administering the ADOS-2 and identifying high functioning autism in complex cases.
- We encourage and welcome applications from psychologists who are native Spanish speakers.
- Candidates must be available to work one to two full days a week (9- 3PM) plus to have set time for parent interviews, parent feedbacks, scoring and writing (that can be done from home as well), and to be available for consultation/supervision meetings (individual and group guidance as needed).
- Most child assessments are conducted in the morning hours. Adult assessment vary. The clinician can take anywhere from 1-2 evaluations a week, depending on how busy they would like to be.
