The Oklahoma Forensic Center (OFC) located in Vinita, OK is a 24 hour/ 365 day secure inpatient forensic facility that provides jail competency services for the State of Oklahoma. Currently, OFC has 268 beds for consumers who have been found incompetent for adjudication or adjudicated as Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity. OFC is expanding with construction scheduled to be completed in June 202 5 adding an additional 84 beds. When completed, OFC will have a total of 352 beds to house consumers. About the Position: Here at the Oklahoma Forensic Center the Psychology department is hiring for Psychologists that would provide direct care for consumers of behavioral health treatment in an inpatient setting, services include assessment and therapy and behavior management and would be expected to have the basic skills and training required to be a licensed as a psychologist in the State of Oklahoma. The psychologist may be required to conduct competence to stand trial evaluations after sufficient training and supervision is received as determined by the appointing authority. Job Type/Salary: Open/Close dates: 3/12/2025-until filled Full-time Hourly payrate: Forensic Psychologist II- $46.15, Psychologist - $41.34 Primary Working Hours are: 8:00am-4:30pm FLSA Status: Exempt Primary Work Location/Department: Oklahoma Forensic Center, Vinita, Ok/Psychology Vacancies: Multiple Minimum Qualifications and Experience: (Forensic Psychologist II) – Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of a current licensure by the Oklahoma State Board of Examiners of Psychologists and two (2) years of experience as a licensed psychologist. (Psychologist) – Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of a master's degree in psychology from an accredited college or university, with a specialty in counseling psychology, plus one (1) academic year in a full-time post-master’s or pre-doctoral internship or one (1) year of full-time experience, while enrolled in a major doctoral study program, under the direct supervision of a licensed psychologist. Must be currently licensed by the Oklahoma State Board of Examiners of Psychologists. Special Requirements: Applicant must be able to pass an OSBI background check. School Psychologists apply expertise in mental health, learning, and behavior to help students succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. The School Psychologist also participates in problem-solving meetings to design systems, programs and services that maximize students' social, emotional, and educational success. Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree with concentration in school psychology School Psychologist Certificate Commitment to Lansing School District’s mission and vision Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience working with children, their families, and their school support systems Experience constructing Positive Behavior Support Systems Experience working with a diverse population of students Job Responsibilities Evaluate general education students being referred for special education services in a timely fashion and re-evaluate special education students as needed Communicate evaluation results to parents and staff Participate in IEPC meeting MDRs (Manifestation Determination Reviews) Participate in multidisciplinary evaluation teams, as well as acting as MET representative when assigned Participate in staff development, in-service meetings, parent education and information meetings as requested Assist staff in the development and implementation of behavioral plans Other tasks as needed in order to best serve Lansing students Work Environment & Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Must be able to move throughout the building and campus, including classrooms, hallways, and outdoor spaces. Frequent verbal communication is required to instruct students, lead meetings, and collaborate with staff and families. May be required to stand or walk for extended periods, including during supervisory duties. Occasional bending, reaching, or sitting on the floor to interact with students. Regular use of computers and instructional technology for planning, instruction, and communication. Must be able to lift or carry instructional materials and supplies weighing up to 25 pounds. Join a team that CARES!Here at ODMHSAS, we believe in I.C.A.R.E. – Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.  Our mission is to promote healthy communities and provide the highest quality care to enhance the well-being of all Oklahomans.  We take that very seriously – because we care!About us:  Come grow with us!  The Oklahoma Forensic Center (OFC) located in Vinita, OK is a 24 hour/365 day secure inpatient forensic facility that provides jail competency services for the State of Oklahoma.  Currently, OFC has 268 beds for consumers who have been found incompetent for adjudication or adjudicated as Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity.  OFC is expanding with construction scheduled to be completed in June 2025 adding an additional 84 beds.  When completed, OFC will have a total of 352 beds to house consumers.About the Position: Here at the Oklahoma Forensic Center the Psychology department is hiring for Psychologists that would provide direct care for consumers of behavioral health treatment in an inpatient setting, services include assessment and therapy and behavior management and would be expected to have the basic skills and training required to be a licensed as a psychologist in the State of Oklahoma. The psychologist may be required to conduct competence to stand trial evaluations after sufficient training and supervision is received as determined by the appointing authority. Job Type/Salary:

Minimum Qualifications and Experience: 
(Forensic Psychologist II) – Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of a current licensure by the Oklahoma State Board of Examiners of Psychologists and two (2) years of experience as a licensed psychologist.
 (Psychologist) – Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of a master's degree in psychology from an accredited college or university, with a specialty in counseling psychology, plus one (1) academic year in a full-time post-master’s or pre-doctoral internship or one (1) year of full-time experience, while enrolled in a major doctoral study program, under the direct supervision of a licensed psychologist. Must be currently licensed by the Oklahoma State Board of Examiners of Psychologists. Special Requirements: 
  • Applicant must be able to pass an OSBI background check. 
  • Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license.
