Responsibilities As a Midas Store Manager, you will manage and direct all automotive and general service technicians in the operation of the shop, including: Recruit, hire, train, motivate, evaluate, schedule and coach employees Deliver exceptional customer service while listening and consulting customers Following up with customers, services requested, estimated completion times etc. Oversee complete vehicle inspections and then make comprehensive recommendations—building computerized repair orders and sourcing parts Deliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers as well as promoting shop service specials Lead, manage, and train team while keeping in tune with our companies’ vision, purpose, core values, and employee creed. Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (other duties may be assigned)
 
  • Assist the Store Manager with management responsibilities including training and development of employees and store responsibilities;
  • Scheduling employees for shifts;
  • Resolving store issues including customer concerns;
  • Ensure compliance with all required regulations and requirements;
  • Assist with audits and proper placement and stocking of merchandise;
  • Ensure hospitality for all store guests by overseeing timely guest transactions; and
  • Monitor profits through end of day procedures, shrink indicators, lottery, stock audits, vendors, car wash operations and retail waste.
REQUIREMENTS: (Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)
 
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required; and
  • Successful completion of required certification testing upon employment.
Experience
  • One year experience supervising others in a fast food, restaurant, retail or convenience operation preferred.
