Responsibilities: Performs scheduled cleaning duties at or around the break rooms, common areas, restrooms, patio areas, smoking areas, office spaces, interior and exterior stairwells, elevators, and coffee stations throughout the day per master cleaning schedule. Replenishes coffee stations with condiments as needed; makes the initial coffee for the day at all designated coffee stations. Collect and remove recycling materials and trash as needed throughout the facility. Disinfects door knobs, faucets, door handles, lobby area, hallways, restrooms and other common areas. Restocks janitorial closets as needed. Arranges and maintains main janitorial supply cage as needed. Other duties as required including setup of training theater for scheduled events, food arrangement and cleanup at special events as needed, cleanup of spills as needed, etc. Support custodial functions as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); prior experience preferred, with some exposure to plant and office custodial methods and equipment and standards. Capable of using hand tools and small power equipment. Ability to read, write and speak in English. Employee must have the ability to learn how to navigate and operate within the company's computer programs and must demonstrate basic proficiency in MS Outlook, Microsoft Word and MS Excel. The Custodian participates as a team member of the Facilities Security Service Department in providing the best sanitary conditions for the proper functioning of a healthcare environment. Notifies supervisor of cleanliness problems or area in need of extra attention. Participates in OSHA and other safety training and yearly updates given by the Health Center and/or outside organizations. Notifies supervisor of need for supplies. Ability to read 2-3 syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers. Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers. Know how to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Know the American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance and measures such as, cups, pints, quarts, gallons, etc. Required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own vehicle or company vehicle on business time, will also require you have proof of vehicle registration and insurance. Job Summary:

As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring the overall appearance of our facilities. This is a crucial role in providing a safe and pleasant environment for employees and visitors.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs scheduled cleaning duties at or around the break rooms, common areas, restrooms, patio areas, smoking areas, office spaces, interior and exterior stairwells, elevators, and coffee stations throughout the day per master cleaning schedule.
  • Replenishes coffee stations with condiments as needed; makes the initial coffee for the day at all designated coffee stations.
  • Collect and remove recycling materials and trash as needed throughout the facility.
  • Disinfects door knobs, faucets, door handles, lobby area, hallways, restrooms and other common areas.
  • Restocks janitorial closets as needed. Arranges and maintains main janitorial supply cage as needed.
  • Other duties as required including setup of training theater for scheduled events, food arrangement and cleanup at special events as needed, cleanup of spills as needed, etc.
  • Support custodial functions as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); prior experience preferred, with some exposure to plant and office custodial methods and equipment and standards. Capable of using hand tools and small power equipment.
  • Ability to read, write and speak in English.
  • Employee must have the ability to learn how to navigate and operate within the company's computer programs and must demonstrate basic proficiency in MS Outlook, Microsoft Word and MS Excel.

    Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
