Description:Performs janitorial duties, involving heavy manual work, where it is necessary to operate manual and power cleaning equipment; performs hand sweeping, cleaning, dusting, waxing, polishing, mopping, scrubbing and related duties; sweeps outside, factory and office areas; empties waste baskets and trays; places sweepings and trash in carts and receptacles; hand or mechanically scrubs, mops, washes and dries floors, woodwork and furniture; cleans carpets, carpeting, and rugs with brooms, brushes, sweepers, extractors, and vacuum cleaners; hand polishes and waxes office furniture, floors, linoleum and woodwork; washes and polishes windows where use of safety belts is not necessary; cleans drinking fountains and lavatories; replenishes supplies such as soap, towels, drinking cups, disinfectants and sanitary napkins; maintains good housekeeping in office, factory and ground areas; does simple gardening as required. Standing: Requires full time standing with limited resting periods and to walk Distances. Sit for extended periods if required. Heights: Able to work at heights. Able to climb stairs or ladders as required. Able to work off of step stools, scissor lifts, lift platforms and aircraft structure without handrails. Overhead work: Able to work overhead as required.
