REPORTS TO/TERM: Principal and Operations Manager This is a full time 12-month position ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS: A Custodian is required to perform the following duties: Heavy cleaning of walls, floors and other surfaces Responsible for all set up arrangements for school activities, programs and events Maintains outside playground and surrounding building as well as parking lot Assist with snow removal and ice melt on walkways and parking lot Assists staff when needed for moving furniture or minor maintenance in classrooms Clean restrooms and stock all paper and soap supplies Secures schools at the end of the day Willing to open school when necessary for events or maintenance work to be done All trash removal Works with administration to maintain building repairs Participates and prepares for fire and safety inspections including fire extinguisher inspections Comply with all school policies and dress codes. Job Summary The Overnight Custodian will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of all areas of the facility to ensure a positive member experience.
