Hours: Monday- Friday, 6:00am- 2:30pm, with overtime as needed

What Will You Do?

• Responsible for interior and exterior of building including but not limited to sweeping and mopping, emptying waste containers, wash window, maintain restrooms, lights, pipes, water fountains, cafeteria. Must be observant to detect any unusual conditions or cleaning necessary in the plant.
• Painting, minor drywall, light electrical (test outlets and replace fixtures) and plumbing.
• Operate equipment such as floor sweeper, compactor, forklift
• Use of power tools: drills, meters, saws
• Salt application and snow removal by use of shovel, snow blower, bobcat.
• Lawn care including mow, trim, and seed as needed
• Sprinkler System Maintenance: Replace and repair sprinkler heads and lines, annual blowout
• Backfills Custodian I
• Other duties as assigned

What Do You Need?

Minor repairs and preventative maintenance of building

Material Handling & Equipment Operation

• Operate equipment such as floor sweeper, compactor, forklift
• Use of power tools: drills, meters, saws

Groundskeeping & Seasonal Maintenance

• Salt application and snow removal by use of shovel, snow blower, bobcat.
• Lawn care including mow, trim, and seed as needed
• Sprinkler System Maintenance: Replace and repair sprinkler heads and lines, annual blowout
• Backfills Custodian I
• Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and interpreting technical manuals.
• Ability to follow instructions and learn new skills.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Strong interpersonal skills in working with a variety of cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards
• Must be certified to operate a forklift or he ability to obtain certification
