About the Role: As a J&J Cleaning Sr. Coordinator, you will be responsible for advanced cleaning duties. This includes mopping, sweeping, and trash disposal. This job is part of the Cleaning Services function. They are responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of client and company buildings. Shift: Days What You’ll Do: Provide daily cleaning support to areas of the building, including executive offices. Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap. Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc. Dust furniture, walls, and equipment which includes moving and rearranging furniture. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. Ensure that cleaning supplies are in a safe, secure area at all times. Monitor inventory levels and submit purchase requests to management. Review the team’s cleaning checklist for designated areas. Ensure standardized cleaning processes are being met as per company standards. Confirm team is following procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment. Attend all regular staff meetings and required in-service training sessions. Recognize and solve typical and atypical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory approval. Evaluate and select solutions from established options. Impact team through the quality of the services or information provided. Follow standardized procedures and practices and receive regular but moderate supervision and guidance. What You’ll Need: High School Diploma or GED with 2-3 years of job-related experience. Fulfill the physical requirements associated with this role. This includes stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs. Must be able to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. An established understanding of work routines and standards and applying skills and knowledge in a range of processes, procedures, and systems are required. Requires intermediate problem-solving skills with the capacity to review and select solutions from available options without supervisory approval. Ability to explain detailed and complicated information within the team in a clear and concise manner. We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform pre-employment substance abuse testing. Replaces light bulbs and cleans lighting fixtures. Ensures outdoor lighting is functioning and free of bugs or debris. Cleans or arranged for vendors for kitchen equipment, including but not limited to hood, steamer, ice machines, vacuuming refrigerator coils, grease traps, etc. Maintains lawn and shrubbery, including but not limited to watering, weeding, replacing, seeding, and trimming. Mowing is done by a vendor. Maintains outdoor furniture in good repair. Picks up all outside litter. Keeps grounds and parking areas tidy. Removes and transports facility trash to dumpsters regularly. Maintains all plant equipment. If applicable, performs prompt and effective snow removal to ensure resident and staff safety. This includes, but is not limited to shoveling sidewalks, clearing parking areas and spreading de-icer. Analyzes and troubleshoots problems by performing necessary repairs, including but not limited to clogged drains, leaking faucets, clogged toilets, and malfunctioning ice machines, dishwashers, washers/dryers, heat pumps, etc. Utilizes appropriate experienced vendors for equipment repairs requiring special expertise, such as watermain breaks, fire sprinkler systems (if applicable), fire safety equipment, and freezer/refrigerator repair, etc. Coordinates with outside vendors for approved services. Maintains an appropriate working inventory of supplies necessary to keep building and related equipment in constant working order. Manages activities of the department so as to meet department budget expectations. Performs basic cleaning functions in assigned areas following established community schedules and protocols. Basic cleaning protocol includes: Dusts horizontal surfaces. Empties wastebaskets, removes waste, relines basket. Damp-wipes or dusts all furniture. Cleans and polishes metal, plastic, and porcelain fixtures in bathrooms. Mops and sanitizes floors of rooms and offices. Spot cleans walls and windows. Polishes metal surfaces. Replenishes room supplies such as toilet paper, tissues, soap, etc. Vacuums carpets and spot cleans as needed. Performs heavier cleaning functions as assigned. These may include shampooing carpets, cleaning windows, wiping down walls and wiping light fixtures. Assists in cleaning of emergency spills when requested. Follows all infection control measures and uses Standard Precautions. Utilizes only community-approved cleaning products. Follows product instructions for effective use and follows appropriate product safety instructions. Stores cleaning products in compliance with community policy and regulatory requirements. Maintains and stores cleaning equipment properly after use and recommends repairs or replacement as needed. May perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director. Supervisory Responsibility None Work Environment Works all throughout the community/facility. Valid driver’s license; must possess and maintain a clean driving record with no major violations. Education and Experience Requirements Prior experience in building maintenance. Must possess knowledge of the following: Plumbing , including but not limited to design/mechanics of commodes, plumbing fixtures, drains, discharge lines, hot water heaters, dishwashers, ice machines, etc. HVAC , including but not limited to general principles of HVAC and heat pump operation/mechanics, and refrigeration. Electricity , including but not limited to wiring, voltage, amperage. Mechanics , including but not limited to design/operation of engines. About the Role:

As a J&J Cleaning Sr. Coordinator, you will be responsible for advanced cleaning duties. This includes mopping, sweeping, and trash disposal. This job is part of the Cleaning Services function. They are responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of client and company buildings.

Shift: Days

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide daily cleaning support to areas of the building, including executive offices.
  • Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.
  • Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc.
  • Dust furniture, walls, and equipment which includes moving and rearranging furniture.
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
  • Ensure that cleaning supplies are in a safe, secure area at all times. Monitor inventory levels and submit purchase requests to management.
  • Review the team’s cleaning checklist for designated areas. Ensure standardized cleaning processes are being met as per company standards.
  • Confirm team is following procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
  • Attend all regular staff meetings and required in-service training sessions.
  • Recognize and solve typical and atypical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory approval.
  • Evaluate and select solutions from established options.
  • Impact team through the quality of the services or information provided.
  • Follow standardized procedures and practices and receive regular but moderate supervision and guidance.

What You’ll Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED with 2-3 years of job-related experience.
  • Fulfill the physical requirements associated with this role. This includes stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs. Must be able to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • An established understanding of work routines and standards and applying skills and knowledge in a range of processes, procedures, and systems are required.
  • Requires intermediate problem-solving skills with the capacity to review and select solutions from available options without supervisory approval.
  • Ability to explain detailed and complicated information within the team in a clear and concise manner.
