Responsibilities: Cleans public and staff spaces of the museum, Glassell School, house museums and related buildings, as well as museum properties using standardized practices and procedures Cleans work areas and administrative offices of the museum and museum properties Cleans employee and public restrooms; disinfects, cleans toilets and sinks; mops floors, polishes stainless steel surfaces, replaces towels and soap Cleans windows and interior glass Sweeps, mops, vacuums, dusts, polishes, empties trash and replaces liners Performs other duties as assigned Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Must be able to lift 25 lbs minimum and be able to perform a variety of physical tasks including lifting, bending, stooping, squating, stair climbing and walking between buildings Able to follow instructions and perform tasks efficiently Able to work in both a group setting and alone with minimum supervision Available to work overtime, including on weekends and holidays, with as much advance notice as reasonably possible.
