This positionwill prepare for events onsite, assist workshop leaders with participant registration and data collection, assist in the hosting of Artists in Residence (AiR), and provide office support for Program Managers and the Director of the OLA. The OLA is the first dedicated art space in the Pine Ridge Reservation. The facility includes artist studio spaces, the Wichapi Olowa Recording Studio, workshop and classroom spaces, a performance space, and offices for partner organizations. This support position is integral to providing a safe and welcoming space for the community to engage in cultural, creative, and educational activities based in Collective Spirit®. Pay: This is a full-time non-exempt/hourly position. The pay range is $15 to $25 per hour. Pay may vary depending on your skills, and experience. Work Schedule: The standard work week of this position is Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Please note that due to program/event needs and schedules, this may be modified to weekends or evenings as needed. The YDP helps ensure a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for participants while reinforcing the Club’s mission of helping all youth reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. JOB DUTIES: Supervise and mentor youth referred to the Teen Court program. Provide real-time redirection and support to youth displaying challenging behaviors. Implement evidence-based behavior strategies to promote safety, de-escalate situations, and encourage positive outcomes. Build positive, trusting relationships with youth, modeling appropriate behavior, resilience, and healthy choices. Support all diversion program requirements, including restorative justice activities, peer jury proceedings, community service tracking, and skill-building workshops. Collaborate with staff, volunteers, families, and schools to strengthen program impact. Assist during daily programming, particularly with youth needing additional supervision or redirection. Collaborate with staff, families, and schools to develop individualized Success Plans. Facilitate Success Plan meetings with families to identify supports, goals, and next steps. Document, track, and update Medical & Success Plans while ensuring timely communication with staff. Monitor member progress and adjust strategies as needed. Ensure all staff are aware of members’ plans, interventions, and strategies for support. Train and coach staff on proactive behavior management techniques. Serve as a resource during programming, offering additional support to staff as needed. Ensure the safety and security of youth on-site and during off-site activities. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming Club environment for all members. Communicate regularly with the Diversion Coordinator regarding participant progress, attendance, and behavior. Maintain accurate records of youth participation, service hours, and program outcomes. Provide daily feedback to supervisor with observations and suggestions for improvement. Attend 100% of monthly staff meetings and bi-weekly one-on-one meetings. Participate in trainings, special programs, and Club events. Perform additional duties as assigned. EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATION: High school diploma or GED required, some college coursework in human services, social work, education, or related field preferred. Experience working with teens in a youth development, educational, or justice-related setting preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate youth. Ability to remain calm, fair, and professional when addressing challenging behavior. Commitment to the mission and values of the Boys & Girls Club. Flexibility to work evenings and some weekends to support Teen Court proceedings. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be of the mental and physical capacity to observe, interact, and communicate with youth, staff, volunteers, etc. at the Club to ensure safety of the space and others, provide guidance and reflection per the Club priority outcomes and goals Ability to stand/sit for long periods of time throughout a shift Ability to operate various types of general office equipment including PC, telephone, copier, etc. This position is considered a safety-sensitive position. We are looking for creatives, history buffs, true crime junkies, and paranormal enthusiasts willing to dive deeper into the dark side of humanity. We thrive on igniting a sense of wonder in every guest on our ghost tours, and as a ghost tour guide you will weave enthralling stories as you lead tours down the ghastly streets of your city.

Ghost Tour Guide Pay & Benefits:

  • $50- $150 a day/night (including tips) - this depends on the number of tours given
  • TIPS!! These can range from $20 to over $100 for a 1-2 hour tour
