What you will do Understands and implements current plumbing codes. Provides plumbing services and general maintenance duties. Works with special systems (sprinklers, medical gases, natural gas) including repairs, troubleshooting, and modifications. Demonstrates current knowledge of plumbing system layouts including isolations valves and shutoff's. Monitors work orders routinely, prioritizing work and completing work order duties. Completes maintenance rounds, logs and records according to preventive maintenance plan. Operates brazing/soldering/welding equipment. Monitors the activities of outside plumbing contractors. Keeps contract plumbers informed of all plumbing work performed for final inspection and approval (applicable to Journeyman only). A Brief Overview

Responsible to perform a variety of general, mechanical, and preventative maintenance duties as well as inspections, servicing, repair, and overhaul of equipment and facilities of the hospital.

What you will do

  • Understands and implements current plumbing codes. Provides plumbing services and general maintenance duties.
  • Works with special systems (sprinklers, medical gases, natural gas) including repairs, troubleshooting, and modifications.
  • Demonstrates current knowledge of plumbing system layouts including isolations valves and shutoff's.
  • Monitors work orders routinely, prioritizing work and completing work order duties. Completes maintenance rounds, logs and records according to preventive maintenance plan.
  • Operates brazing/soldering/welding equipment.
  • Monitors the activities of outside plumbing contractors.
  • Keeps contract plumbers informed of all plumbing work performed for final inspection and approval (applicable to Journeyman only).
