By law, mortgage companies and banks are required to document the occupancy and physical condition of all mortgaged loans. To do this they send a Property Inspector to the physical property to take specific photos and to reasonably determine if the property is occupied or vacant. The property inspector then reports the general condition of the property using a mobile app. Mortgage Field Service Inspectors are Property Inspectors who: *Determine if a property is occupied or vacant. *Rate the property as Good, Fair, or Poor. *Take photos of the property using your smart cell phone. *Fill out a form on your cell phone using a downloadable app. *Answer multiple choice questions about the property condition. REQUIREMENTS: *Must be able to pass a criminal background check. *Must have dependable transportation (good gas mileage is a plus). *Must have a smartphone (Android or iPhone). *Must have a printer/scanner (or easy access to both). *Must a desktop/laptop or tablet to print forms. INCOME and ASSIGNMENTS: Income-based on area and volume. Most inspectors can complete several inspections an hour. Rural areas may pay more per inspection on average. The faster inspections are completed, the more inspections are provided. Based on 1099 contractor work. No resume required.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 DOE


Project Solutions is seeking an experienced individual to provide bookkeeping and payroll support as an Accounting and Contract Specialist. This position is responsible for completing accounting tasks including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and payroll.  

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Invoicing to customers  
  • Create and maintain customer accounts in accounting software  
  • Monthly review and reconciliation of revenue 
  • Sales tax reporting and processing  
  • Compliance with federal and state reporting requirements 
  • Maintain Burns & Burns Books 
  • Corporate Tax payments and processing as required by accountant 
  • Set up contract, invoice template, tracking spreadsheets, invoicing to customers, and maintain customer accounts in accounting software.  
  • Post transactions into accounting software  
  • Reconcile general accounts  
  • Assist in maintaining and processing payroll liabilities for multiple state and federal agencies  
  • Support accounts payable processes 
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to management as required

REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:
  • Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software is required.
  • Experience with Costpoint is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and proficiency in use of computers and software applications.  
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity. Strong organization, time management and attention to detail  
  • Skilled in working with Excel worksheets  
  • Ability to assume a high degree of responsibility, and work with minimal supervision  
  • Strong written and oral communication skills  
  • Qualified applicant must be able to pass a background check  
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals throughout multiple departments  
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment 
  • Maintenance of a valid driver's license
