The Mobility Enterprise Information Services framework is a structure providing reusable common platform and information technology services, software products and components, and design patterns allowing for deployment into a common shared environment. The IBA can be used for such things as: Medical and Vision Insurance through United Health Care; Dental insurance through Delta Dental 100% Medical Reimbursement Time Off with Pay Profit Sharing Plan 401k Educational Benefits Additional Income IBA Benefits accrue each month in the amount equivalent to 50% of the employee’s monthly compensation rate. That is, the effective dollar amount of this accrual is in addition to an employee’s salary. Profit Sharing Plan (PSP) The PSP is a qualified retirement plan that Northstrat funds quarterly on the employee’s behalf through the IBA in the amount equivalent to 25% (up to the IRS contribution limit) of the employee’s compensation. In this position you will be supporting the Mobility Enterprise Information Services (MEIS) which provides net-centric services as an enabler for new, modernized and current Mobility Air Force (MAF) command and control applications and capabilities supporting the U.S. Transportation Command and Air Mobility Command global mission. The Mobility Enterprise Information Services framework is a structure providing reusable common platform and information technology services, software products and components, and design patterns allowing for deployment into a common shared environment. As a sub-enterprise focused on the MAF beneath USTRANSCOM, this framework is an integral part of USTRANSCOM's overall service-oriented architecture strategy. You will assist with tasks to design, build, operate, and sustain web environments on AWS (Cloud One).

Position Responsibilities:

  • Help Maintain pipelines and automated deployments using 3rd party and cloud-native DevSecOps tools based on the requirements of the Development teams
  • Perform maintenance on cloud-hosted or cloud-native DevSecOps tools to support pipelines and deployments
  • Work under the direction of mid and senior level DevSecOps engineers to maintain pipelines and deployments in cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Cloud Platform
  • Work with developers and application experts to test issues in cloud-based environments. 
  • Functional Responsibility: Automates Deployments, Tests, Troubleshoots, Maintains Cloud Environment, Maintains Cloud-based Tools

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Associate’s Degree and 4+ years of experience
