Duties and Responsibilities: Participate in the design, architecture and implementation of systems, software, networks, and services required to operate Seekr platform. Work in close collaboration with software development teams to build scalable and efficient services. Identify and remedy operational inefficiencies through automation. Troubleshoot and assist with deployment related issues and incident response on live systems. Remain at the forefront of the latest Build/Release tooling technologies and systems to manage software releases into production. Lead development of solutions to complex operational and reliability challenges and proactive detection of system failures and scalability issues in production. Skills and Qualifications: 5+ years working in Systems Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or similar capacity preferably managing SaaS environments. 5+ years of experience working with Linux systems, familiar with Linux fundamentals including network protocols. Experience with programming and/or scripting languages (Python, Ruby, Bash, Java) 3 years of experience of Kubernetes experience is required, both in the cloud and on-premises. Solid experience with managing and maintaining databases in Kubernetes. Expert skill in packaging software into helm charts for rapid deployment in AWS, OCI, Azure, on-premises, and on Edge hardware Experience working with Elasticsearch or similar search technology at scale. Experience working with Postgres or similar database technologies at scale. Systems configuration management experience with automation tools such as Puppet, Ansible, Chef and Terraform. Experience with Foreman or other MASS technologies strongly desired. (Foreman, Ironic) Experience with Monitoring, Metrics and Central logging tools (Prometheus, InfluxDB, Grafana, Loki, Tempo, ELK) Experience building automation tools and managing Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines (Gitlab, Jenkins, ArgoCD). Expertise in deployment and management of Kubernetes, especially EKS, as well as the applications running on it. In-depth knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) and tools like Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation. Experience with security best practices and implementing security measures in a DevOps environment. Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or equivalents. Proficient in common programming and scripting languages such as Python, Golang, Shell, Java, and JavaScript. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, capable of completing tasks with minimal guidance. Proficient in cross-cultural communication and effective collaboration across multiple time zones on an international team. Prefers (Nice to have) Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, GitLab Certified Professional, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA). Previous experience with microservices architecture. Familiarity with serverless computing (e.g., AWS Lambda). Understanding of agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices. About the Opportunity:

We are looking for talentedDevOps Engineers to join our team to deliver world class search technologies to mobile devices. You will be working with a smart team of Engineers and Product Managers to lead and drive the release of all Seekr software and getting it into the hands of customers and agencies.  This role is focused on developing repeatable deployment methodologies to implement Seekr software regardless of customer environment – cloud, on-premises, and at the edge.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the design, architecture and implementation of systems, software, networks, and services required to operate Seekr platform. 
  • Work in close collaboration with software development teams to build scalable and efficient services. 
  • Identify and remedy operational inefficiencies through automation. 
  • Troubleshoot and assist with deployment related issues and incident response on live systems. 
  • Remain at the forefront of the latest Build/Release tooling technologies and systems to manage software releases into production. 
  • Lead development of solutions to complex operational and reliability challenges and proactive detection of system failures and scalability issues in production. 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years working in Systems Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or similar capacity preferably managing SaaS environments. 
  • 5+ years of experience working with Linux systems, familiar with Linux fundamentals including network protocols.
  • Experience with programming and/or scripting languages (Python, Ruby, Bash, Java) 
  • 3 years of experience of Kubernetes experience is required, both in the cloud and on-premises.
  • Solid experience with managing and maintaining databases in Kubernetes.
  • Expert skill in packaging software into helm charts for rapid deployment in AWS, OCI, Azure, on-premises, and on Edge hardware
  • Experience working with Elasticsearch or similar search technology at scale.
  • Experience working with Postgres or similar database technologies at scale.
  • Systems configuration management experience with automation tools such as Puppet, Ansible, Chef and Terraform.
  • Experience with Foreman or other MASS technologies strongly desired. (Foreman, Ironic)
  • Experience with Monitoring, Metrics and Central logging tools (Prometheus, InfluxDB, Grafana, Loki, Tempo, ELK)
  • Experience building automation tools and managing Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines (Gitlab, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results on time and with high quality. 
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple business and technical teams.
