The current expected base salary for this position ranges from $120,000 - $180,000. Actual compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work; stock options may be offered in addition to the range provided here. Employees are eligible to participate in a number of Company-sponsored benefits, including health, vision and dental insurance. Job Description:

As a DevOps Systems Administration Engineer at Parsons, your goal will be to ensure that our technological infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently, supporting the needs of our business operations. You will work closely with our partners as well as data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that our data-driven strategies are effective and aligned with our organizational goals.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and system management tools

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner

  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with best practices

  • Monitor system performance and ensure the reliability and availability of IT services

  • Integrate various tools and technologies to streamline development workflows and improve efficiency

  • Implement security measures to protect data, software, and hardware

  • Collaborate with IT team members to support network infrastructure and optimize system performance

  • Maintain documentation of systems and processes for reference and compliance purposes

  • Participate in IT projects and provide technical support for system upgrades and implementations

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • U.S. Citizenship and active DoD Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role

  • Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems and network protocols

  • Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms

  • Familiarity with security practices and tools

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Knowledge of security best practices and tools for DevOps

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
