Devops Jobs 2026 (Now Hiring) – Smart Auto Apply

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their GitLab/DevOps Platform Administrator position! This is a 12+ month contract opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo, NY (4 days per week onsite). This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C.

Position Overview:

This role is responsible for administering and optimizing GitLab and SonarQube platforms, supporting CI/CD pipelines, and aligning application structures with organizational standards. The position will play a key role in platform governance, project migrations, and enabling development teams through improved tooling and automation.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Administer and maintain the GitLab platform, including setup of groups and subgroups aligned to organizational structure
• Coordinate with teams to analyze and scope project and pipeline migrations to target state
• Execute migration of projects into new GitLab structures
• Update and validate Active Directory (AD) permissions
• Migrate and manage group-level variables
• Update branch rules to align with new development standards
• Support application teams in creating and managing protected environments
• Integrate unit testing and SonarQube jobs into merge request (MR) approval processes
• Administer SonarQube, including setup of applications and portfolios aligned to organizational structure
• Migrate projects into SonarQube applications
• Generate and maintain reporting for applications and portfolios

What You'll Need to Have:

• GitLab platform administration experience
• Intermediate to advanced experience supporting CI/CD pipelines, including GitLab components
• SonarQube administration experience
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and automation
• Experience with access controls and permissions (e.g., Active Directory)
• Ability to support and collaborate with cross-functional development teams

Pay Range: $55 - $60/hr
