Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master who excels not only in facilitating Agile ceremonies but in coaching teams, driving business value, and enabling modern, AI?enhanced ways of working.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in collaborative, outcome?focused environments and leverages tools such as Microsoft Copilot and GitHub Copilot to elevate team performance.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Leadership & Team Enablement

• Serve as a servant leader and coach to one or more Scrum teams
• Enable teams to self?organize, take ownership, and continually improve
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies with a strong focus on outcomes over activities
• Identify and remove impediments while fostering team accountability

Business Value Delivery

• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders
• Ensure backlog items are well?defined, outcome?oriented, and aligned to priorities
• Coach teams on incremental value delivery and understanding the “why” behind the work

Azure DevOps & Delivery Metrics

• Utilize Azure DevOps for backlog management, sprint planning, and reporting
• Leverage delivery metrics (flow, predictability, cycle time, throughput) to guide improvement
• Support data?informed decisions without micromanagement

AI?Enabled Ways of Working

• Champion responsible use of AI tools (Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot)
• Coach teams on integrating AI into planning, refinement, documentation, and retrospectives
• Experiment with emerging AI?assisted practices to increase productivity and quality

Coaching & Continuous Improvement

• Coach on Agile, Scrum, and Lean principles
• Identify systemic issues and collaborate with leadership on solutions
• Foster a culture of curiosity, learning, safety, and accountability

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach
• Proven experience working in Azure DevOps
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile delivery metrics
• Experience supporting cross?functional engineering/product teams
• Demonstrated focus on delivering business value, not just velocity
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI tools (Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot)
• Background in software engineering or technical product delivery
• Experience coaching in enterprise or regulated environments
• Relevant Agile certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe, ICP?ACC, etc.)
