DevOps Engineer

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Type: W2

Job Description

We are seeking a mid level DevOps Engineer with strong software engineering fundamentals and experience across DevOps, release engineering, and cloud engineering.

The ideal candidate has an engineering mindset focused on automation, development, and building reliable delivery platforms, rather than primarily manual operations.

Requirements

· Experiencein DevOps, release engineering or cloud engineering roles with strong softwareengineering fundamentals.

· A genuine engineeringmindset. We are looking for people who automate and build, not people whooperate a console.

· Azure platform as aservice expertise, including function apps, App Service, networking and KeyVault.

· Deep GitHub Actionsexperience, plus Azure DevOps Pipelines.

· Release engineeringexperience coordinating deployments across teams with shared dependencies.

· Experience runninginfrastructure, .NET and Maven deployments in production.

· Strong scripting skills(PowerShell, Python, Bash).

· Well versed inbuilding, running, and debugging apps in C#/.NET, Java, Node.js, TypeScript,etc.

· Solid understanding ofCI/CD principles and agile delivery practices.

· Excellent collaborationand troubleshooting skills, and comfort moving between teams with differentstacks.

Preferred:

· Kubernetes and GitOps(Argo CD preferred), including Canary and Blue/Green deployment strategies.

· Exposure to GCP.

· Working knowledge ofInfrastructure as Code (Terraform, YAML).

· SAFe agile environmentexperience.

· Kafka, GraphQL,Temporal, LaunchDarkly, SonarQube, Backstage, and mobile app releaseexperience.
