Position Overview Apollo Capital Solutions ("ACS") anchors the Firm's capital markets and syndication businesses. Apollo is seeking a full-stack Salesforce Developer to join its Investment Engineering team and lead the business analysis and implementation of Salesforce-based solutions that support the firm's Deal Teams. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technologist with a strong foundation in both Salesforce development and business analysis. This role involves configuring and optimizing Salesforce to manage deal pipelines, designing scalable workflow solutions, and integrating with key enterprise platforms such as Olympus, Everest, and other internal systems. It also includes the coverage of data governance, Salesforce maintenance, and training initiatives in support of the ACS team. A strong understanding of investment data, exceptional analytical skills, and effective communication capabilities are critical for success in this position. The candidate will play a key role in building, enhancing, and maintaining the ACS syndication pipeline tool, with a strong focus on optimizing the Salesforce platform to support our investment workflows. This position requires extensive collaboration with the broader Salesforce Technology team, working closely to deliver tailored solutions for ACS. Responsibilities include participating in sprint planning, coordinating delivery efforts, and ensuring seamless integration of business requirements into scalable, high-impact technology solutions. The candidate will also cover the ACS business in related technology work affiliated with Salesforce. This includes business analysis support of reporting functionality and incremental co-invest technology solutions. Candidate must be interested in coding but also equally interested in broad support of the business coverage across the deal teams needs. Axos is seeking a Salesforce Technical Lead to manage a team of Salesforce developers and administrators. You will Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of Salesforce applications. Provides technical guidance and support to team members. Collaborates with other departments to ensure Salesforce meets business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce admins and developers, ensuring appropriate resource allocation, velocity, and quality at all times.
  • Continually expand personal and enterprise knowledge of the Salesforce suite of systems; research innovations for review and/or adoption by the Bank, including each Salesforce release.
  • Understand Axos' diverse business units and strategic initiatives; ensure capacity is anticipated and an enterprise perspective is considered.
  • Develop and maintain complete and current governance and project and system architecture documentation.
  • Work directly with senior management to align strategies and solutions.
  • Design and deliver scalable solutions that follow best practices for design.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure Salesforce meets business needs
  • Build and utilize custom objects, workflows, process builders, validation rules, and general automation functionality.
  • Manage multiple sandbox environments and effectively migrate changes to the production environment
  • Ensure SDLC processes, releases, and documentation best practices are adhered to by the team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM or related field, Master's degree preferred
  • 4+ years' hands on complex Salesforce development in an enterprise-level environment (500+ users), including APEX, Visualforce, and Lightning Components
  • Design and deliver solutions utilizing Salesforce security and access framework and best practices
  • Working with sandbox and production environments to manage changes
  • Training for Salesforce Technical/Application Architect
  • Experience leveraging Integrated Developer Environments (IDEs) such as VSC, Webstorm, Welkins, Sublime/Maven
  • Active Advanced Developer certification from Salesforce is preferred
  • Implementation with APEX Language, Classes, Controllers & Triggers, Lightning Components, Visualforce Pages
  • SOAP and REST API calls, Web Services and HTTP requests from APEX
  • Expertise in debugging and resolving the issues in existing code
  • Proven strong development experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud environments
