Summary of the Job

The Senior Salesforce Engineer will serve as a key contributor to the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements, while ensuring high code quality and scalability. This role will serve as a technical lead: driving best practices, troubleshooting complex issues and collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver reliable solutions.  Senior Engineers will develop integrations outside of native Salesforce tooling using cloud-based technologies.

Key focuses:

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable and maintainable customizations using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and declarative tools
  • Automate business processes through triggers, flows, and validation rules
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues in Salesforce applications and integrations
  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations with AWS Services and third-party systems
  • Perform code reviews for adherence to best practices
  • Build and extend our current CI/CD processes

Minimum Requirements:

  • 6 or more years of professional development experience, including at least 3 years specializing as a Salesforce developer with expertise in Apex and LWC
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and governor limits
  • Proficiency in using other programming languages to develop integrations or Salesforce utilities that streamline processes
  • Advanced scripting and automation knowledge (Bash, Python, Go, etc.) and proficient in writing SOQL Queries
  • Experience with Salesforce deployment tools and CI/CD pipeline implementation and enhancement
  • Solid knowledge of Salesforce security model (profiles, roles, permission sets, field-level security), including compliance requirements like SOX or GDPR

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Ability to troubleshoot, resolve, and document technical issues in the Salesforce environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven capacity to anticipate obstacles and plan for contingencies
  • Assess and adjust plans based on agile principles, while embracing uncertainty and navigating ambiguity

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $140,000 - $160,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and the range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, role-related knowledge and skills, depth of experience, relevant education or training, and additional role-related considerations.
