As the Financial Services Cloud Solutions Architect, you will play an integral role in the high satisfaction of Vantage Point's clients through the design and development of scalable, high-quality services and solutions on Financial Services Cloud. You will be responsible for owning the overall design of the technical application and recommending best practice solutions based on client business needs.  Primary Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and document scalable, high-quality business solutions to be built on the Salesforce platform, specifically Financial Services Cloud. Participate in and facilitate customer requirements and solution design workshops. Capture and map business requirements to system/technical requirements and identify gaps and risks. Advise customers on the overall enterprise architecture, where Salesforce fits in, and assist in developing overall architectural strategy. Assess and make recommendations on processes, designs, operations, and testing. Understand the technical depth of the project and validate the correct resources. Manage and participate in the entire software development lifecycle. Recommend alternative approaches, analyze impacts, and provide sizing estimates. Lead design and code reviews. Analyze and mitigate bugs and issues. Lead release planning and deployment. Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing and work closely with users for user acceptance testing. Support pre-sales engagements, estimates, and solution design and can articulate what requirements have changed. Write technical specifications (for custom development, system integration, etc.) jointly with the developer team. Document build plans and delegate work to developers and consultants. Work closely with our clients to assess their current architecture and architect solutions that meet their needs. Articulate the value of recommended solutions and approach to customers. Requirements 8+ years of consultant experience in a client-facing role. 5+ years of Financial Services Cloud implementation experience. Strong experience leading technical requirements gathering and solution design sessions with clients. Superior experience identifying and documenting the business process and technical requirements, developing process flow analysis, data modeling, and functional design experience. Expertise in one or multiple Financial Services domains, banking (retail, commercial, investment, mortgage lending and servicing), insurance, and wealth & asset management. Experience writing user stories to capture business requirements. Experience managing a project team relevant to the delivery of the technical solution. Strong experience in enterprise-level projects using Agile software development methodologies throughout the development lifecycle. Strong experience designing or building Salesforce integrations with third-party systems. Experience with data migrations from third-party systems to Salesforce. Has familiarity and first-hand experience with third-party solutions that support vertical objectives. Strong Salesforce development and design skills including Apex, Lightning, SOQL, Flow, and other standard and advanced Salesforce automation tools. Understands all aspects of Salesforce's current and future release functionality specifically for Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud. Job Description

Vantage Point is seeking a highly qualified Salesforce Sr. Solution Architect - Financial Services Cloud to join our 100% remote team! As the Financial Services Cloud Solutions Architect, you will play an integral role in the high satisfaction of Vantage Point's clients through the design and development of scalable, high-quality services and solutions on Financial Services Cloud. You will be responsible for owning the overall design of the technical application and recommending best practice solutions based on client business needs. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and document scalable, high-quality business solutions to be built on the Salesforce platform, specifically Financial Services Cloud.
  • Participate in and facilitate customer requirements and solution design workshops.
  • Capture and map business requirements to system/technical requirements and identify gaps and risks.
  • Advise customers on the overall enterprise architecture, where Salesforce fits in, and assist in developing overall architectural strategy.
  • Assess and make recommendations on processes, designs, operations, and testing.
  • Understand the technical depth of the project and validate the correct resources.
  • Manage and participate in the entire software development lifecycle.
  • Recommend alternative approaches, analyze impacts, and provide sizing estimates.
  • Lead design and code reviews.
  • Analyze and mitigate bugs and issues.
  • Lead release planning and deployment.
  • Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing and work closely with users for user acceptance testing.
  • Support pre-sales engagements, estimates, and solution design and can articulate what requirements have changed.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of consultant experience in a client-facing role.
  • 5+ years of Financial Services Cloud implementation experience.
  • Strong experience leading technical requirements gathering and solution design sessions with clients.
  • Superior experience identifying and documenting the business process and technical requirements, developing process flow analysis, data modeling, and functional design experience.
  • Expertise in one or multiple Financial Services domains, banking (retail, commercial, investment, mortgage lending and servicing), insurance, and wealth & asset management.
  • Experience writing user stories to capture business requirements.
  • Experience managing a project team relevant to the delivery of the technical solution.
  • Strong experience in enterprise-level projects using Agile software development methodologies throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Strong experience designing or building Salesforce integrations with third-party systems.
  • Experience with data migrations from third-party systems to Salesforce.
  • Has familiarity and first-hand experience with third-party solutions that support vertical objectives.
  • Strong Salesforce development and design skills including Apex, Lightning, SOQL, Flow, and other standard and advanced Salesforce automation tools.
  • Understands all aspects of Salesforce's current and future release functionality specifically for Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud.
  • Understand the importance of scalability and maintainability.
  • Understand when to use a declarative solution versus a code solution.
  • Strong experience leading release planning and deployment.
  • Superior experience recommending alternative approaches, analyzing impacts, and facilitating sizing estimates.
  • Superior experience conducting unit, integration, and performance testing and participating with users for user acceptance testing to support a successful project outcome.

Salary Range: Compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The starting pay range for this role is $145,000 - $160,000 annually.
