Receives cash from guests, make change as needed, verify validity of room charges, records charges. We are seeking a Culinary Server to join our community committed to delivering outstanding food to our residents. As a Culinary Server, you will play an important role in all phases of food preparation that meets or exceeds Buckner quality, service, and hospitality standards. What you'll do:

  • Must be upbeat, courteous, and positive.
  • Possesses great guest relation and communications skills.
  • Deliver hospitality, enhance every guest experience.
  • Be able to navigate through the menu, describe featured menu items. Demonstrate extensive menu knowledge.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders. Be able to send orders to kitchen accurately through the point of sales system. Partner with all associates to serve food and beverages in a timely manner.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and work well with others.
  • Must be able to adhere to our Buckner Service Standards.
  • Responsible for all side-work duties assigned and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in all dining areas, some kitchen areas.

  • Completes and meets required training and certification requirements of Buckner and governing authorities; e.g. food handlers certificate.
  • Requires knowledge of and ability to learn food serving, cleanliness and sanitation requirements.
  • Requires ability to effectively communicate verbally with residents, families, visitors and co-workers.
  • Requires ability to move food serving and preparation equipment as needed; requires ability to use up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 pounds of force continuously to move objects.
