About Your Compensation Compensation for this position is $10.35/hour plus tipped earnings. Employees who are scheduled to perform work in a non-tipped capacity for 20%+ or more of their shift, attend required events like orientation or training, or do not average minimum wage with their combined tipped income each week will be paid a minimum wage of $15.50/hour. Possesses knowledge of the position of each diner’s chair in the dining rooms and lounges. Organizes the plates in the window and matches each one with each ticket to run the food out to the tables. Sets tables in accordance with Troon Golf standards. Ensures that each menu item is prepared in the exact detail outlined on each ticket. Corrects the menu item with the chef before delivering the menu item if it is not meeting the exact specification on the ticket. Fills and re-fills water glasses and removes any place settings not being used. Clears dishes located in front of guest upon completion of course. JOB OVERVIEW

Under the Food Service Manager supervision, the RESTAURANT SERVER performs the following duties:

 TYPICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serving hot and cold food to customers in a fast paced environment
  • Interact with customers and kitchen staff in preparation and delivery of food orders
  • Check quality control of prepared items prior to delivery to the table for customer ingestion

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

  • Performing repetitious movements while standing for long periods of time

  • Frequently reaches above or below shoulder for products
  • Work inside and in hot conditions frequently
