Position: Server Potential to earn up to $30/hour Job Summary As a Server, you’ll be the face of the guest experience—welcoming, engaging, and guiding guests through their experience with genuine hospitality. You’ll have the opportunity to make thoughtful recommendations, showcase your menu knowledge, and contribute to a fun, fast-paced team environment. While taking care of our guests, Servers have the potential to earn up to $30.00 an hour! Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional service with professionalism, personality, and efficiency Stay current on menu offerings, daily specials, and any updates Guide guests through food and beverage selections with confidence and care Maintain a clean and well-organized dining area Accurately handle cash and credit transactions Refill drinks, clear tables, and respond promptly to guest needs Assist in special events and promotional activities Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Qualifications High school diploma or GED At least 1 year of experience in a hospitality or casual dining setting Strong multitasking and communication skills Able to stand for extended periods and lift a minimum of 25 lbs. Our franchise organization, Kopper Corral, LLC dba Golden Corral, is currently seeking energetic, friendly individuals to join our team!   

The main responsibility of the Server is “Making Pleasurable Dining Affordable.”  Fulfilling  Golden Corral’s mission statement requires a positive attitude and on going professionalism.  Hospitality is the most important part of the Server’s responsibilities. The keys to success for a Server include a clean, neat appearance, positive attitude, and courtesy.

Hospitality:  

  • Ensures guest satisfaction and promotes return visits by following the Eight Steps of Service.
  • Practices positive public relations through ensuring our restaurant is welcoming and an inclusive environment for all guests.  
  • Aware of the guests’ needs and works to make the guests’ experience pleasurable.
  • Shows enthusiasm and knowledge about new products and special promotions.
  • Promotes teamwork by assisting other Servers to ensure outstanding guest service.

Operational Excellence:

  • Thoroughly understands product specifications and ensures guests’ receipts match the number of guests dining in their party.
  • Performs opening and closing procedures and side work duties.
  • Brings equipment and facility problems to the attention of the Manager.
  • Familiar with the correct table bussing procedures.  
  • Follows safe work practices to ensure personal safety and the safety of other Co-workers and guests.

Cleanliness:

  • Performs duty roster and meets cleanliness, service, and quality standards.  
  • Follows local health department laws.
