Job Description
Blossom Hotel is Houston’s newest and most distinctive luxury destination for business and leisure. Located steps from the nations largest medical and research community at Texas Medical Center, near NRG Stadium and Rice University. Positioned at the axis of innovation and inspiration, guests can enjoy the diversity of nearby neighborhoods, world-class dining options and attractions. We are looking for our next great team member to join us on our Food and Beverage team to fill the position of Server.
We are looking for friendly, attentive servers to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a welcoming, high-quality service environment. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and teamwork are essential.

Here is what you are doing each day:
Greet guests warmly and provide menu guidance, including food and beverage recommendations.
Take and serve accurate food and beverage orders efficiently and professionally.
Ensure all dishes and beverages are presented according to luxury hotel standards.
Attend to guest needs promptly, anticipating requests and resolving concerns to exceed expectations.
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, service stations, and silverware.
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
Handle transactions accurately when applicable, including cash, credit, and room charges.
Participate in training and team meetings to uphold service quality and standards.
Does this sound like you?
Prior experience as a server in a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant, or high-end establishment preferred.
Knowledge of food and beverage pairings, service etiquette, and fine dining procedures.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and guest service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Basic math skills for handling payments and transactions.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Capability to lift trays, dishes, or beverages up to 25–30 lbs.
Manual dexterity and stamina for extended service periods.
