Maintain manual and electronic label information accurately. Properly identify and store printed components in designated locations. Print master shipper labels as needed per production schedule. Maintain an accurate inventory count of all production labeling components. Issue and receive printed components for production according to planning schedule. Review pre-production paperwork and completed production paperwork for accuracy. Maintain a safe, clean, temperature controlled and neat label room environment. Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or clinical research organizations is preferred. Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in Clinical QA is preferred. Strong knowledge of GCP regulations, including FDA, EMA, ICH, and other applicable international regulatory guidelines. Certification in GCP auditing (e.g., RQA, ASQ) is a plus. Experience in auditing clinical trial sites, vendors, and CROs. Experience across GXP disciplines preferred. Proven track record in supporting regulatory inspections and managing CAPA processes. JOB SUMMARY:

The QA Label Room Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all labeling and packaging materials comply with quality standards before they are used in production. This role is crucial in preventing labeling errors, maintaining regulatory compliance, and ensuring product integrity. The inspector will work closely with production, packaging, and quality control teams to perform inspections, verify accuracy, and document findings. 

Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6a - 4:30p

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferably 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Knowledge of FDA/cGMP guidelines.
  • Basic proficiency in math.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; fluency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Forklift experience preferred.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain inventory control of all product labels within the label room:
    • Coordinate orders with site Purchasing Associate.
    • Receive incoming shipments of printed components.
    • Physically unpack cartons of printed components.
    • Verify labels and quantities against supplier packing lists and perform physical counts.
    • Inspect printed components for quality (e.g., wrap, color, varnish, size, spelling).
    • Ensure printed components meet customer specifications.
    • Process new printed components into inventory.
    • Maintain manual and electronic label information accurately.
    • Properly identify and store printed components in designated locations.
    • Print master shipper labels as needed per production schedule.
    • Maintain an accurate inventory count of all production labeling components.
  • Issue and receive printed components for production according to planning schedule.
  • Review pre-production paperwork and completed production paperwork for accuracy.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, temperature controlled and neat label room environment.
  • Perform cycle counts through the month.
  • Assist the Quality Team as needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. repeatedly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, and reach in various directions.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and stairs.
  • Ability to push and pull items as necessary.
  • Proficient finger dexterity and fine hand manipulations with both hands.
