We are currently searching for an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals at our skilled nursing facility. Job Description:
As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our residents by helping them regain or maintain independence in daily activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of older adults.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate residents' needs, abilities, and goals.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges.
- Collaborate with other departments, including nurses, physical therapists, and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide training and education to residents and families on therapeutic techniques and strategies.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and advancements in occupational therapy for geriatric populations.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Occupational Therapist (OT) with a valid state license
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
