Your Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Land Management, Business or related field strongly preferred. AAPL Land Certification preferred and experience in Ohio and Pennsylvania. 8+ years of experience with land acquisition or similar role in the oil and gas industry. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel. Project management experience within the Appalachian basin Must have proficiency in negotiating and executing various agreements, including JOA and 3rd party contracts. Knowledge of regulatory processes and requirements related to land acquisitions in the energy sector. Ability to meet specific deadlines based on department needs and work with minimal supervision. Must be detail oriented with strong analytical and communication skills and have the ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Job Description

GCyber is hiring a Systems Administrator (Security & Compliance) to support a US Coast Guard program in Kearneysville, WV. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing compliance of USCG systems, including performing STIG and vulnerability remediation, applying patches, and system hardening updates for Windows and Linux systems.*Due to the sensitive nature of the work, this position is expected to perform full-time onsite at the USCG facility. As a Security & Compliance System Administrator, you will:
  • Perform STIG and vulnerability remediation across enterprise systems
  • Execute assigned tasking to remediate and close out legacy STIG findings and vulnerability scan results
  • Apply security patches, configuration updates, and security hardening in accordance with approved baselines
  • Validate remediation actions and support compliance documentation and reporting
  • Administer and support both Windows and Linux operating systems, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • DoD 8570 IAT II certification (e.g., Security+, CND, CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP)
  • BA/BS in related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of related experience performing security and compliance activities in an enterprise DoD environment
  • Hands-on experience using DISA STIGs and SCAP-based tools (e.g., STIG Viewer, SCAP Compliance Checker) for remediation and validation
  • Experience remediating host-based vulnerability scan findings to closure
  • Proven administration experience across both Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Experience applying patches, configuration changes, and hardening actions in accordance with approved baselines and change control procedures
