Skilled at drawing iso’s and redline as-builts per customer requirement. Must be able to work at a minimum under API 1104 standards and if required, costumer standards that go above and beyond it. Inspect, examine and test installed systems and pipelines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation or other methods. Highly skilled with rolling offsets, degrees, pipe threading, welding, and other pipefitting and tubing techniques. Must be able to pull elevations from top of pipe utilizing a sight level and/or transit. Experience with equipment and rigging to be able to unload and position pipe for welding. RDR is seeking pipefitters for our Piping and Mechanical division, these positions will be located primarily in Clarksburg, WV.Job Summary:Pipefitters will report directly to RDR supervisor.This role will lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, and related equipment for the oil and gas industry. Effective, Professional communicator with customer, managers and workers. General knowledge of gas compression and dehydration of natural gas is required.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Able to build strong relationships with customer representatives along with ensuring quality work and project compliance.
  • Be able to lead by example, achieve desired results, make decisions in the field and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Coordinate and manage multiple employees and crews for each job.
  • Responsible for certain administrative duties including timesheets for crew members, production reports, and schedules.
  • Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
  • Ensure that workers, equipment and materials are used safely and efficiently while maximizing productivity.
  • Coordinate assigned work with other companies, trades, departments or other contractors.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent educational experience; vocational school or trade apprenticeship required
  • 7-years’ experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Able to read and comprehend P&ID’s and Iso’s.
  • Skilled at drawing iso’s and redline as-builts per customer requirement.
  • Must be able to work at a minimum under API 1104 standards and if required, costumer standards that go above and beyond it.
  • Inspect, examine and test installed systems and pipelines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation or other methods.
  • Highly skilled with rolling offsets, degrees, pipe threading, welding, and other pipefitting and tubing techniques.
  • Must be able to pull elevations from top of pipe utilizing a sight level and/or transit.
  • Experience with equipment and rigging to be able to unload and position pipe for welding.
