Job Description
Experience true work-life balance with on-site care and remote documentation. Join TeamHealth: where your expertise meets compassionate care! We are seeking a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner to join our growing group practice in the Morgantown, West Virginia, area.Role Overview
- Schedule: 2 days a week, Monday to Friday
- Provide patient care in a skilled nursing facility by conducting rounds in their short-term units
- Conduct documentation at home with provided iPad laptop within 48 hours of seeing patients
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Collaborate with facility staff to enhance patient care
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with a mental health diagnosis
- Prescribe and manage medications
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation
- Hold a valid full PMHNP license
- Active WV license
- Active DEA preferred but not required
- Experience in healthcare or long-term care is preferred but not required
