Reports to : Longwall Coordinator Job Description: Maintain longwall equipment as assigned based on the operational needs of the mine. Ability to follow and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics Knowledge of solid state circuitry electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting Maintain compliance with all state and federal laws and all company policies Perform any other assigned tasks for which he or she is qualified by virtue of training or experience The essential functions of this position were determined to be but not limited to: 1. Perform emergency and preventive maintenance, including electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting, and repair/replacement of component parts, on all production and support equipment. 2. Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, i.e., greasing, fluid checks, oil and filter changes, etc. 3. Perform permissibility testing. 4. Work Schedule: Will work five (5) days, Monday through Friday. Periodically, miners will be required to work a sixth (6th) day on Saturday.
