Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the accurate and timely filing of various corporate government filings, including federal, state, and local tax returns, prepare and review tax workpapers, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
  • Prepare and review workpapers that support the state nexus determination, the apportionment of income, state modifications, and overall tax calculations for various state and local tax authorities
  • Assist with the preparation and documentation of the R&D tax credit calculation
  • Assist with quarterly tax estimates and yearly extensions including process improvements related to the forecasting of global cash tax payments
  • Assist with tax audits at both the federal and state levels, including preparing responses to audit queries
  • Assist in developing processes that synergize tax provision and tax compliance computations
  • Assist with SOX internal controls compliance
  • Monitor tax law developments and evaluate impacts
  • Identify opportunities to minimize tax liabilities through strategic tax planning
  • Research, evaluate and document tax implications of complex transactions
  • Collaborate and partner with members of the Global Tax Team and other Finance teams to provide U.S. tax operations support
  • Maintain U.S. compliance tracker and foreign tax returns tracker
  • Provide tax operations support to special tax projects

  • Familiarity with technology and automation tools (Alteryx, Tableau, Databricks, etc.) or a willingness to learn
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and tax research tools (BNA and/or CCH)
  • Experience with Corptax a plus
  • Experience with SAP a plus
  • Experience with Longview and/or OTP a plus

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
