Job DetailsSenior Tax AccountantWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Tax Accountant with at least five years of relevant experience to join a dynamic professional services team. This role will support a diverse client base with a strong emphasis on oil and gas industry clients, contributing to both tax compliance and tax planning initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Participate in select phases of tax compliance engagements, including document management, data validation, and workflow coordinationFacilitate client interactions by gathering necessary financial information, responding to inquiries, and maintaining strong professional relationshipsPrepare and review federal and state tax returns, with a focus on oil and gas clients, including partnerships, corporations, and individualsAssist with tax planning strategies to optimize client outcomes and ensure compliance with applicable regulationsAnalyze financial data and identify potential tax issues or opportunities for improvementStay current on changes in tax laws and industry-specific regulations, particularly within the oil and gas sectorCollaborate with internal team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of engagementsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CPA-eligible preferred)Minimum of five years of public accounting or relevant tax experienceExperience preparing tax returns for oil and gas clients strongly preferredSolid understanding of federal and state tax regulationsStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentThis is an excellent opportunity for a motivated tax professional looking to grow within a collaborative and client-focused environment while gaining deeper exposure to the oil and gas industry.Interested in hearing more?
