Job Description:

Crowe’s dynamic and entrepreneurial Federal Tax Consulting Services (FTCS) practice incorporates cutting-edge technology into an innovative, team-based approach to deliver specialized federal tax consulting to clients ranging from middle-market companies to the Fortune 500. The group is currently searching for a Senior Associate to support projects in the areas of federal credits, including research and development (“R&D”) tax credits. A successful candidate will contribute to client delivery, mentor associates, and develop the technical skills needed to help drive the practice forward.

Key Responsibilities and Skills:

  • Execute project work plans, including reviewing data and supporting documentation for R&D tax credits under IRC Sections 41 and 174

  • Assist in leading technical interviews with client personnel, such as scientists and engineers, to gather key project details

  • Prepare and review appropriate quantitative and qualitative documentation to support project results using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Alteryx

  • Assist in leading client meetings and internal team discussions to communicate project progress and findings

  • Support client relationships by delivering exceptional client service and fostering collaboration with stakeholders

  • Mentor and train associates through on-the-job technical guidance and coaching, helping them build foundational skills in tax consulting and technology
