Associate General Counsel - Tax Law Specialist

Job Summary:

The Associate General Counsel (AGC) specializing in Tax Law will provide comprehensive legal expertise in tax matters, as well as managing and interpreting tax credits with a focus on energy tax credits. The AGC will work closely with business leaders, finance teams, and external counsel to minimize and understand the evolving regulatory landscape and minimize litigation risks, ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and optimize tax credit opportunities.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Tax Expertise:

  • Specialize in tax credits such as the 45X and Investment Tax Credit (ITC)/Production Tax Credit (PTC), ensuring compliance and maximizing benefits for the company.
  • Manage and interpret tax credits available to Array and its customers, providing strategic advice on tax-related matters.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Tax, Corporate Finance and Corporate Accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting and utilization of tax credits.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that impact the Company's eligibility for various tax credits.
  • Provide legal advice on energy tax credits, ensuring the company leverages all available incentives and complies with relevant tax regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law and in good standing with the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (preferably where the company is based).
