Job Summary Assists athletic department with a wide variety of support functions including custodial, laundry, mechanical, set ups and direct student support services. Essential Functions Receives, verifies and processes new uniform inventory. Keeps accurate records on uniform sizing and locker information. Supervises athletic locker room use by ensuring student athletes follow procedures and established rules, securing locker room and monitoring appropriate use of locker room facilities. Responsible for washing, drying, folding, sorting and preparing uniform sets, towels and related items (approximately 1500 pieces per day) for student athletes and approved coaches assigned to a variety of athletic teams on a daily basis. Under the direction of an Athletic Administrator, set up/breakdown fields, facilities and equipment. Opens and secures all areas of the facility as needed for classes, meetings, practices, tours, etc. Meets with users prior to special events to determine facilities usage requirements. Primary Essential Functions: All associates are obligated to support and uphold the values, expectations, policies, and procedures of Grand Pacific Resorts as outlined in the Employee Handbook. Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs of the property, common areas, and guest rooms, focusing on basic electrical, plumbing, painting, appliance repair, and HVAC with little or no supervision. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and other mobile apps to create and close work orders with appropriate data (labor hours, downtime, problem/cause/remedy, and parts used). Follow written and verbal instructions and complete documentation associated with work orders/guest requests. Communicate with resort guests to triage facilities issues, set service response expectations, and validate that work has been completed to quality control and guest expectations. Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization. Adhere to all OSHA and other regulatory agencies having jurisdiction on health and safety regulations. Understand and follow safe work practices in accordance with the OSHA/Resort Safety Programs and Emergency Response Manual. Participate in Safety Programs within the Resort through awareness in everyday job functions. Participate on the Resort Safety Committee and Emergency Response Team. Report injuries, illnesses, workplace hazards, issues with tools, equipment, machines, unsafe acts/unsafe conditions to the respective Supervisor/Manager and or Safety Committee. In the role of Water/Wastewater Project Engineer, we'll count on you to:

  • Take responsibility for performing complex assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures
  • Make decisions on significant design and engineering procedures as needed
  • Function as technical specialist or project manager on mid-size projects as needed
  • Supervise small staff of professionals and technicians as needed

  • MS
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience designing and creating plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects

  • Previous experience designing and creating plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of a task
