Special Education Teacher Assistant Mt Pleasant,SCLocal Pay: $33.19/hour - (W2) Travel Package:Travel Rate (based on 37.5 hours): Hrly $15.01,Stipend (Lodging $511.00 + M&I $280.00) = $791.00Total Comp:$1,353.88Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.Join our team and make a meaningful impact by supporting the day-to-day operations of our team. - Day 5x8-Hour (TBD)
- 40 hrs / week
- Provide direct support to students in both small group and one-on-one settings
- Assist with implementation of IEP goals and accommodations
- Support classroom instruction and daily activities
- Help manage student behavior using established intervention strategies
- Collect and record student data as directed by the teacher or BCBA
- Assist with transitions, routines, and reinforcement strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment
- Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a special education setting
- Experience supporting students with autism, ADHD, or other developmental needs preferred
- Ability to follow directions and implement behavior and instructional plans
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Minimum of 1 year related experience.
- Additional certifications may be required.
- Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
