The Opportunity

FuntoNetwork is seeking a Transit Facility Design Engineer for upcoming project opportunity: GoRaleigh Operations and Maintenance Facility Expansion.

Core Responsibilities

Assess existing conditions affecting the GoRaleigh administrative and maintenance building expansion design.
Identify the physical and operating constraints for GoRaleigh administrative and maintenance building expansion.
Compare feasible GoRaleigh administrative and maintenance building expansion design alternatives.
Prepare the calculations needed to size or assess GoRaleigh administrative and maintenance building expansion components.
Develop the assigned GoRaleigh administrative and maintenance building expansion layout and component details.
Check GoRaleigh administrative and maintenance building expansion interfaces with adjoining systems and site features.
Review proposed GoRaleigh administrative and maintenance building expansion materials and component selections.
Resolve design comments affecting GoRaleigh administrative and maintenance building expansion installation.
Compare installed GoRaleigh administrative and maintenance building expansion components with the agreed design.
Document design changes and technical findings needed for GoRaleigh administrative and maintenance building expansion handover.

What You Bring

Demonstrated experience performing Transit Facility Design Engineer responsibilities in public-sector, regulated, enterprise, or comparable environments.
Ability to produce complete, reviewable work products tied to requirements and acceptance criteria.
Strong documentation, stakeholder coordination, risk awareness, confidentiality, and deadline discipline.
Relevant licenses, certifications, clearances, insurance, or local delivery capacity when required by the solicitation.
