Job Description
- Work in close collaboration with the project management team. Specifically, manage the design contract on design-build projects.
- Prepare and monitor project design budget and schedules.
- Provide oversight and supervision over the technical work of the design team.
- Lead and foster collaboration between design and construction teams.
- Review construction plans and specifications for compliance with contract requirements as the design is developed.
- Coordinate project designs with federal, state, and local agencies, utility companies, regulatory/approval agencies, and other third-party stakeholders.
- Resolve design issues, in collaboration with design and construction teams, as they arise.
- Assist in the preparation of design-build proposals.
