Part-Time Cashier

Veron's Supermarket

Job Description:We are looking for a friendly and dependable Part-Time Cashier to join our team. As a cashier, you will provide excellent customer service, accurately process transactions, and maintain a clean and organized checkout area. If you enjoy working with people, have attention to detail, and are looking for a flexible work schedule, we would love to meet you!

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the cash register and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
Ensure accurate pricing and scanning of items
Bag groceries and assist with carrying items when needed
Keep the checkout area clean and organized
Resolve customer concerns or direct them to the appropriate department
Adhere to store policies and procedures, including those related to safety and cleanliness

Requirements:

Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus, but not required
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and basic math skills
Flexibility to work various shifts (3 per week), including evenings and weekends
Primary shifts are M-F (3:00 PM -7:00 PM), SAT (7:00 AM - 1:00 PM) (1:00 PM - 7:00 PM,) SUN (7:00 AM - 2:00 PM)
