We are expanding our services and looking for a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a neurology background to provide high-quality care to patients in long-term care facilities in New York City.

Responsibilities:

Provide neurological evaluations and follow-up care for nursing home residents.
Diagnose and manage conditions such as stroke recovery, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, neuropathy, and other neurological disorders.
Collaborate with nursing home staff, families, and interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care plans.
Document all patient encounters and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
Educate patients, caregivers, and facility staff on neurological conditions and treatments.

Requirements:

Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) in New York State.
Board Certification in Neurology or experience in neurology preferred.
Minimum 1-2 years of NP experience (geriatrics or neurology a plus).
Experience in long-term care or nursing home settings preferred.
Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
