Senior Tax Manager (Public Accounting)Location: Omaha, NE / Council Bluffs, IA metro areaCompensation: $110,000–$140,000 base + bonus potential

The Opportunity As Senior Tax Manager, you will:

  • Own an existing book of business: Manage client relationships, oversee tax compliance, planning, and advisory services for a diverse portfolio.
  • Lead a team: Supervise and mentor a small to mid-sized group of tax professionals, driving quality, efficiency, and professional development.
  • Drive community engagement: Actively participate in client events, industry associations, and local outreach to elevate the firm’s profile.
  • Partner track: Demonstrate leadership, business development acumen, and technical excellence on a clear path to partner/shareholder.

Requirements

  1. What You’ll Bring
    • CPA licensure and 7+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience
    • Proven ability to manage complex tax engagements and mentor staff
    • Strong communication skills with both clients and internal teams
    • Business development mindset and a passion for community involvement
