Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Accounting Clerk to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks. The responsibilities of this position include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports, and performing bank reconciliations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
- Type accurately, create and maintain accounting documents and records.
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
- Daily enter key data of financial transactions in the database.
- Provide assistance and support to company personnel.
- Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
- Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas.
- Comply with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills:
- Knowledgeable in GAAP.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledgeable in Google Workplace.
- Proven accounting skills: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll Reconciliations, And Account Classifications.
- Able to type 40 wpm and use the ten-key calculators.
- Ability to use an automated accounting system.
- An associate's degree or relevant certification is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time.
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour.
Physical Setting: Office.
Schedule: 8-hour shift (Monday to Friday).
