This role promotes a culture of safety, minimizes risk, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to protect employees, the environment, and company assets.| WHAT YOU GET TO DO·       Operate, monitor, and maintain high-pressure and low-pressure boilers used in EV production and facility operations.·       Develop, implement, and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with regulatory requirements and company standards.·       Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations.·       Conduct risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.·       Lead incident investigations, determine root causes, and implement preventive measures.·       Deliver safety training and education programs to employees at all levels.·       Monitor workplace conditions and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).·       Maintain required records, reports, and documentation related to workplace safety and environmental compliance.·       Partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in EHS performance and safety culture.·       Support emergency preparedness and response planning, including drills and training.·       Track, analyze, and report EHS performance metrics to leadership.| WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAMRequired Qualifications·       Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field with 8+ years of related experience,OR Master’s degree in a related field with 6+ years of experience,OR PhD in a related field with 3+ years of experience,OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.·       Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, compliance standards, and best practices.·       Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.·       Demonstrated ability to influence and engage employees at all levels of the organization.·       Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.·       Effective communication and training facilitation skills.Preferred Qualifications·       Professional certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager).·       Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or high-risk operational environments.·       Knowledge of ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 standards.·       Experience with EHS management systems and reporting tools.Key Competencies·       Safety Leadership and Advocacy·       Risk Assessment and Mitigation·       Regulatory Compliance·       Continuous Improvement Mindset·       Collaboration and Influencing Skills·       Attention to Detail and AccountabilityWork Environment·       Primarily based in a manufacturing or operational setting with exposure to moving equipment, noise, and varying environmental conditions.·       Requires occasional travel and flexibility to support multiple shifts or emergency response situations.Work Authorization Requirement:Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
