Job Description

A+ Family Dental Solutions is looking for a motivated lead dental assistant who strives to provide patients with the best care, comfort, and experience possible.  Our internal team plays an important role of showcasing the culture we strive for which is making patients feel like they're family where we will do everything in our power to honor them with love and respect.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

X-ray license, Coronal Polishing certificate, CPR certificate

Knowledge

  • Can competently perform the clinical and technical dental procedures required for a Registered Dental Assistant.
  • Has radiograph training in FMX, Pano, and CBCT.
  • Knows how to administer CPR and first aid.
  • Knows how to take blood pressure and other necessary vitals for patient charting.
  • Has a thorough understanding of cross-contamination and how to prevent it.
  • Keeps informed and updated on OSHA regulations, CDC guidelines, and HIPAA requirements.
  • Has a working knowledge of CBCT and CEREC.
  • Would be nice to have experience with Open Dental, but not required.

  • Lead Assistant duties and responsibilities 
  • General assisting duties
  • General maintenance and cleaning duties
  • Assist in the administration of nitrous oxide
  • Take digital images and impressions
  • Learn and optimize existing technology 
Compensation: $26-30/hr DOE
