Job Title: PHP Web Application Engineer Location: Seattle, WA, USA Job Summary: We are looking for a PHP Web Application Engineer to join our fast-paced development team based in Seattle, Washington. This role involves building and maintaining robust, high-performance web applications and backend systems using PHP. The ideal candidate should be a team player with solid coding practices and a passion for developing innovative web solutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop and enhance web applications using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Work with backend frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter. Collaborate with designers and other developers to create intuitive web experiences. Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and performant. Conduct code reviews and write automated unit tests. Maintain documentation of code and system architecture. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. 3+ years of PHP development experience. Strong experience with Laravel or CodeIgniter framework. Good knowledge of MySQL and database optimization techniques. Familiarity with front-end tools like Bootstrap, Vue.js, or React. Understanding of RESTful APIs and third-party API integration. Strong analytical and debugging skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with content management systems like WordPress or Drupal. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. Basic DevOps experience (CI/CD pipelines, Docker, etc.) Comfortable with Agile development methodologies.
