Job Description

Are you in need of a job change? Pro Resources is seeking a 1st shift Material Handler located in Ft. Wayne, IN. Apply today!
Pay: $18.00
Hours: 8am-4:30pm
Position Summary:
The Material Handler performs a variety of material handling duties including but not limited to, delivering, and staging raw material at machines, packaging finished material for shipping, warehousing raw material, components, and finished material, loading, and unloading trucks and core cutting. Requires strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, a high degree of flexibility, clerical skills, good communication skills, computer skills, a desire to learn, and the ability to work in a safe manner.
Job Duties:
  1. Transfers palletized materials and supplies to and from warehouse and production
  2. Utilizes ERP system to determine appropriate materials to be issued to production
  3. Assists the Warehouse Coordinator with loading and unloading trucks
  4. Performs inventory cycle counts
Requirements:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. Shipping and Receiving knowledge
  3. Forklift experience 2-3 years
  1. Intermediate PC Skills
  1. Ability to successfully complete Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) training program
  1. Ability to read, write and speak English
  1. Ability to demonstrate basic math skills
  1. Excellent interpersonal, communication and troubleshooting skills
  1. Ability to obtain a DOT medical certificate
  1. Clean driving record
  1. US Citizen or Permanent Resident
  1. Ability to make decisions and recommendations to improve storage and stock
