Role Overview:The Driver / Shop Floor Helper role supports the efficient operation of the manufacturing facility by executing safe and timely transportation of materials, assisting with shipping and receiving activities, and maintaining a clean, orderly warehouse environment. This position requires a dependable individual with strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in an industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles to transport materials, equipment, and finished goods between facilities, suppliers, and customer locations.
- Ensure all deliveries and pickups are completed according to established schedules and quality standards.
- Load and unload vehicles safely, following proper material‑handling procedures.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and required documentation.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance needs.
- Assist with preparation of outbound shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Receive incoming materials, verify quantities, inspect for damage, and ensure proper documentation is completed.
- Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations to support efficient production workflows.
- Support cycle counts and inventory audits as required.
- Operate material‑handling equipment such as pallet jacks or carts (training provided if necessary).
- Perform equipment preventative maintenance actions and document actions regularly.
- Provide recommendations to improve productivity, equipment utilization, and identify best use of equipment.
- Support 5-S and adhere to health, safety, and environmental company guidelines.
- Perform cross-functional operations.
- Adhere to Hera Safety protocols and OSHA/Cal OSHA safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education diploma (GED).
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in driving, warehouse operations, or shipping/receiving preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. DMV print out required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a manufacturing environment.
- Good customer service skills.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English. Use computers daily and communicate via email.
- Understanding of Safe work practices and operational security.
- AS9100 standards, FOD prevention, and operational security.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or space manufacturing environments.

Business Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:am to 5:30 pm
Base Salary Range: $20.00 - $24.00 USD ( OT and Saturdays as required.)
Base Location: Ontario, CA
Travel: 100% onsite at 1055 E. Francis, Ontario, CA 91761
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
