Job Description
Job Title: Quality Clerical Clerk (Manufacturing Environment)Pay: $21.12/hourSchedule: 1st Shift – 6:50 AM to 3:00 PMJob Type: Contract-to-Hire
Job Overview:We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Quality Clerical Clerk to support operations in a heavy metal fabrication plant. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy of documentation tied to a specific, high-priority order moving through multiple stages of production.
While this position is located in a high-heat manufacturing environment, it does not require heavy lifting. Success in this role depends on strong written communication, organization, and meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track a designated order as it moves through multiple processes in the fabrication shop
- Ensure all required paperwork is accurately completed at each stage of production
- Verify documentation and maintain clear, organized records
- Communicate with production, quality, and shipping teams to ensure process compliance
- Ensure documentation accuracy prior to shipment; shipment of the order depends on correct paperwork
- Assist with inspection-related clerical tasks and other quality support duties when the primary order is not in the facility
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and documentation integrity
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing roles requiring high attention to detail
- Experience with production paperwork, shipping documentation, or quality records preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail (most critical skill for this role)
- Ability to work effectively in a high-heat manufacturing environment
- Proven reliability and professional communication in a production setting
Requirements:
- Background check required
- Drug screening required
- Valid driver’s license
- Stable manufacturing work history in roles requiring accuracy, documentation, and communication
